Hi Guys/Girls. :D

I came across the forum as i'm currently in the hunt for a new mobile. I've always been an Iphone user  and have just put my 3rd iphone 3G up for sale (it was either sell it.....or break it). Ive had enough with the constant faults and the 3G slowness since the IOS4 update, so ive been thinking about trying out an android.

I must admit.... i first bought the iphone because of the whole HEAP of apps available but the novelty soon wore off and it just gets used for internet browsing and emails.

I know there are quite afew android phones and i'm not really sure which would best suit my needs. Due to limited funds, id be looking to buy 'used' with a budget of around

What about the Samsung Galaxy S? It looks to already be supported on the O2 network. I suspect you can find deals on one on eBay...

Looking at the prices of the Galaxy S, it unfortunatly seems to be a phone out of my price range. :(

What about the HTC Hero. Its obviously not a recently released phone, but is it still a contender with any of the newer released budget androids (wildfire etc.)

As mentioned above, it would be mainly used for email and browsing. I'm not really one for gaming  and its biggest use would be twitter/facebook.

i have the hero.. it is same as the wildfire in processing power.
it is now at the low end. Great phone... but i would not recommend you to get it.

is the LG Optimus S available in your area and network. It should be very reasonable priced and a little more power.

stay away from the samsung phones other than Galaxy S.
