I have an android device, but I don't know what's its model or brand..I have an android device and no a phone so there's no sim card slot,,,the problem is that I cant sync with google like google talk or gmail,,anyways when I try to sync it. It says. There is no network connection, this could be a problem to your phone sim card,,like I said its nott a phone,so why does it says problem sim card, please help me sync with google servers,,,,i will be thankful whoever helps me

Welcome to the forums.

Can you examine the device all over, inside the battery compartment, etc, in an effort to determine what it is? Just post what names and numbers you see on various labels (not the battery itself).

A screen shot would be very good to have; take a picture of it with an ordinary camera and upload it to the site in a post.

Whatever is telling you that is probably assuming that you have a mobile device on a GSM network. If it's an Android device but not an Android phone have you set it up for WiFi or however else you intend to connect it to the internet?

It would help to know specifically what the device is. Was the make and model not listed when you purchased it? You can also check under the battery as suggested above. Or try Settings->About device. How did you acquire it without knowing what it was?

1. you should check how to turn on the wifi. make sure you are in a wifi area.

2. WHY do you not know.. what it is???????????????????
how did you get your hands on an android device and not know what it is? I can only think of one way.... stolen property. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Hey there dude! :)

Welcome to the forums buddy!

Hmm, very interesting actually! Judging by your specific build number (Build 1.7.4) and the Linux Kernel (2.6.29-00236) this device seems to be something called a "FlyTouch" or an Eken M002 internet tablet hmm, Looks cool dude! I am about to get the Archos 32 myself :)

Hmm let's see how we can connect this bad boy up to your Wi fi (other) connection dude ;)

Hmm I am guessing you have a router dude?
