once you play a full loot mmo there is no going back. too bad darkfall is so imbalanced at the higher levels and mortal online is just garbage. just me wishing somebody would make a good full loot game thats up to date. anybody else with me on this?

That's why it hasn't taken off, and never will unless there's a way to secure your harder-to-get items or earn them back somehow. No matter what, there's always somebody better than you in MMO's, and who wants to lose all their stuff to somebody else after only one fight?

actually that's part of the fun of it. no worse feeling than losing something important...and on the other side there's no better feeling than taking somebodies hard earned loot. and that's why if you have or are using anything of value you want to be rolling around with a few of your buddies...imo thats the problem with current pvp in most mmo's...what do you really have to lose when you die?

full loot MMOs will not have items that can not be(or be hard to) replaced. even if they were you should know the risks of bringing those items out, and be good enough to not die and lose them.

full loot MMOs are about skill, not items. they tend to make as level a playing field, item-wise, in order for people to actually go out and fight. not sit in their house admiring their super uber cyberphallic of perpetual awesomeness inside their house, or online profile.

the real PvPers will always play, the carebears and geardiots will not. there are infinitesimally more of the latter than the former.

it takes more skill to defeat a human opponent than an computer AI script.

i have yet to feel the excitement i felt playing UO in any other MMO i've played. DAoC got close, but not anywhere close enough.

fully agree....comes back to my issue.....i just can't play any other mmo with the same amount of enjoyment :(

sad thing is there's nothing on the horizon....guess i'll just have to keep watching darkfall and hope they fix the issues :/

I've never played a full loot game, but I used to play Diablo 2, and one day I was outside of town PvPing, and some one popped my corpse. All my items popped out of my corpse and the guy took them. That was the worse day of gaming that I can remember. All that hard work getting good items, and they're all gone. This is why I will never play a full loot game. I don't want to go through that again, and I don't want to make anyone go through it.
