Too many pattern attempts sony xperia X10. locked out

Ha5. I also get the same problem.i ald try all the solution.some tell me to try password as null, and some ask to hard reset. But all the solution cant fix it. then i try my self. First U need to remove ur sim card, then turn on ur x10 without sim card. dial to 112 at emergency call. n touch ur screen, then should be a pattern pola out. try to change it. just enter the pattern from 3-2-1-4.that the easy pattern i think.why should 3-2-1-4? cause that is the minimum pattern that the x10 require. just do that n confirm the pattern again.then ur x10 can be open. Hope this solution can fix all ur prob. After tat dont use any pola to protect ur x10 again.. i ald try for 10 times. i make it locked then open again n again.and every times tis solution can fix.now i also not afraid too use the pattern again... Ha5. If need any confirmation or solution just email to me.. i will try my best to help u.

There was a suggested cheat... try typing 'null' into the password box. It worked for some people so might be just the thing for you! Let us know if it does.

you are awesome!!!!! after 3 days of being without my phone and numerous calls to sony to try to resolve this matter...the little 4 letter word null got me back into my phone. I was already preparred to ship my phone to them for repair. Once again , Thank you.

I have got the same problem, my X10 got locked out after too many attempts and i tried all the solutions like null password but unable to fix the problem. I tried doing the same as you guided but there is no pattern appeared. Plz help me out of this situation.please guide me either there is specific area of the screen where you have to touch or there is unique way of doing it. Or please suggest me some other possible solution to unlock my phone. Please your help will be greatly apprecaited. anxiously waiting for your reply...

Try the following link to hard reset your phone. There are three ways to hard reset your cell phone mentioned in the link. I use the option 3 and got my problem solved.

this happened to me once. in the password field, enter the word "null" (no double quotes) instead of the actual password. you should be able to log back in

I had this problem only I forgot my gmail password cuz I never use it. I fixed it. This only works if you have a shortcut to your settings on your home screen.
When on the screen with gmail and password theres a emergency call option, select it.
on the call screen press back, you have a split second to select settings.
do it again when you press back it should show your settings menu
you have to be quick and press security
do it again and you should see the require pattern option at the very top.
the next time your on that screen you have enter your pattern as quick as possible, and that should solve the problem.
this will take a few attempts and be very frustrating, but be patient and you wont have to wipe your phone :)

I just managed to unlock mine (eventually).. just switched off, removed sim card, switched back on and entered the correct pattern, then put sim card back in and switched it on again and it worked. This truly is the worst phone of all time, last time this happened I had to have a factory reset done and lost everything so thanks all.

Here is a tip....turn the pattern off.

Second tip....remember the pattern if you set it.

I am still amazed how there are at least 2 or 3 people a week that come on here to complain about how they set a lock pattern and forgot what it was.....somehow I don't think the problem is the phone's fault.

Thank you so much!! to every one else yuo must have alot of patients. i almost broke my phone i wanted to slam it on the wall from the irritation. This works even if you dnt have a shortcut on your home screen.

1) open slide, go to account info screen

2) go to emergency call (now heres where its frusterating BE PATIENT)
press the <- back key

3) very quickly press menu, Repeat 1 and 2 then hit security.

4) after this keep reapeting until you complete the patern removal.
the screen will quickly in a second keep going back to the slide screen keep repeating step 1,2. When the phone takes you back to the slide every time you repeat step 1 and 2 when you hit the bak botton the screen will be exactly where you left off.

what you got to go to is Menu, Settings, And Uncheck the (require pattern box) then the tricky and most hard part is entering your pattern You only have 1 second to do so.

*This only works if you know your pattern. My phone got locked because my nephew was messing with it.

More specific if my instructions werent clear. Txt or call 510)367-2118
totally free lol.
