How the HTC EVO just saved my ass.

Anyways, no biggie (aside from comcast taking $100/mo from me and this is the service I get? They are gonna hear it!)

I flip on 4G, flip on wifi tether for root users, and within 2 minutes I post my midterm paper, and I'm good to go.

<3 EVO.

In all fairness, I could have done this with my EPIC too, or any Android phone, but the EVO is just bad ass because it has a kickstand to do the gangster lean while I tether.

yes, EVO specifically, not sure about other models.

I was referring to the EVO, being an HTC phone, able to do wireless tethering (or wirless hotspot as we can also call it) since the poster specifically mentioned HTC devices, and I am not sure if ALL current devices fall under that category

I'm fairly certain all phones with 2.2 have the capability, though your carrier may disable it...
