Accessories Seidio: Coming Soon for the Vibrant!

Well, it seems as though Seidio will beat Otterbox to the release of a quality case (and other accessories) for our Vibrants. I'm quite excited about this, as I've been exclusively using Seidio Innocase II and Rugged cases for my Blackberry devices for years until I went Android. I have also seen and played around with Otterbox cases, which are great too, but I prefer Seidio.

Here's the link for those who are interested:

Not to hijack this thread BUT....
There are other extended batteries/expanded back cases on the market for the Vibrant RIGHT NOW and from my experience they solve the dismal stock battery problem nicely.
Not an endorsement one way or the other and I'm not highjacking the thread with other brand names,
Just saying they work and resolve the Vibrant's extended power needs.

The batteries have been available from Seidio for a while now, even the large one. I was referring more to the cases.

The Vibrant cases and combo are now shipping in Black!

Thanks for the update!

For anybody interested in purchasing just the combo, we unfortunately can't use our FORUM10 coupon code to save 10% as the total price is 5 cents lower than the required $50. However, customer service today gave me a code of WEB10 that works just fine for the same 10%. Can't argue with $5 off!

We don't have plans to develop an Innocase Active at this time but I will pass along your interest in one!
Yes, please do! Actually I think the RUGGED version would be interesting as well since from what I can tell they are used in conjunction with an innocase! I love that design, although the active still seems a bit more reasonable in the size department.

I had the RUGGED for my BlackBerry 9700 and loved it. It's definitely not for those looking for a small, sleek solutions for their accessory needs, but for anybody who needs the extra protection it's fantastic. I actually preferred it for the size, it made the phone fit more comfortable in my hand. As for the Active series, that would be great too.

FYI: The RUGGED is an Innocase II that has the beefy additions that fit right on top of it. You can use it as a plain Innocase II, or the RUGGED (you would only need an Innocase II holster if you're a holster person).

Hey all, just received a new Christmas coupon from Seidio in my email box. Use the code "XMAS20" to receive free shipping and 20% off of any orders $50 or larger. Great if you need an extended battery and the new Innocase they just released, or anything else. The promotion goes from today until 11:59CST on 12/12/10.

Got my case today. It's very nice in both look and feel. It's a lot like the Case Mate Barely There case, except this one protects all around the bezel. It's two pieces and they snap together nicely. However, because it's pretty thin (which I like) I'd say the $30 price is a bit steep, especially compared to the Tough Case which offers a lot more protection for the same price.

Overall, I'm satisfied and this will replace my Barely There case as the primary case for my phone.

(Man, I have too many cases.)

Just because it's thin doesn't mean it's less protective. I've used Seidio for the past 3-4 years on about 5 devices, and not one has had anything happen to it after a drop with the Innocase on it. Sure, rubber coat it thickly with the RUGGED or an Otterbox and you're protected against 10 story drops, smashes against the wall as you walk by, and even small tornadoes, but then again it's more bulky as well.
