What do u want for Christmas?

I never ask for anything for Christmas cause I think it's more for the kids. But this year all I'm asking is for Samsung to get us Captivate users 2.2 and an official word that 2.3 will also be coming. If that to much to ask for?

I am with lunatic.. I am not Christian but I play nice during this time for my family. Otherwise I could really care less about celebrating Christmas. I get people nice stuff and it is nice to see family.. but in general.. Ehh

I'm with you guys. Christmas doesn't really mean much to me. I was raised in a Catholic household so I guess I'm just carrying on the tradition with my daughter a bit.

But in all seriousness I want a 56 inch LED TV and maybe a 360 slim or PS3 (still undecided). It's about time I upgrade the old PS2. I told myself I won't get one until I have the TV first.

But in all seriousness I want a 56 inch LED TV and maybe a 360 slim or PS3 (still undecided). It's about time I upgrade the old PS2. I told myself I won't get one until I have the TV first.

Those LED TVs are pretty good. My best friend snagged a 46" Samsung on Black Friday for a decent price. He mounted it as well. 56" should be pretty epic.

Yea I want to do the swivel mount on a stand. I saw a 56inch Samsung at Wally mart right around $1,000 which is right in my price range but I still need to do some more shopping around.

I have a bunch of the older box like TVs at home and this will be my first Flat/LED TV so I'm eagerly anticipating this bad boy

My buddy got a 55" Sammy LED and it's pretty nice but honestly I'd save yourself some money and get an LCD. You're paying extra cash for thinness (how big of a deal is it when it sits in one spot) and deeper black colors, that's it. It's not true LED, just an LED backlight.

As for 360 vs. PS3 both are excellent and offer different things for different people. Look at the features, look at the game selection, and go from there.

I'm leaning towards the 360 because of the online experience but my 10 yr old son is pushing for the PS3. Plus my wife likes the idea of the added Blu Ray player. It's like I'm fighting an uphill battle on this one LOL

Well to be honest I'm not too familiar with either one but I've heard that xbox live is more active and I'm really only into sports gaming like Madden and NBA2K. Don't really care about exclusives.

I don't think many of those bulky TVs exist anymore. Almost all recent model TVs come slim. I have a 42" Panasonic Viera plasma that is slim. Not LED slim but almost identical to LCD slim.

As for the console, you could always get both in due time.

It is more active. but that many more stupid people.. I find that ps3 has more adults seemingly, but less people with mics. I always liked the ps3 controller more for sports games too.
