Root How to convert from DI01 "1.6GHz voodoo kernel" to DJ05 kernels?

Like the title says, I want to switch from my current setup to a non voodoo (unless voodoo5 is really that awesome) OC'd setup with DJ05. I know there's a 1200 kernel out that i think isn't voodoo'd with DJ05.

Can someone post up a step by step guide for me please? With finals coming up, I haven't been able to follow all the newest tech as closely as I would like, and I feel like I've fallen so far behind
