My Droid got a dead pixel right in the center of the screen and nothing I tried to fix it has worked (Pixel fixing app, turning phone off, removing battery, rubbing it, etc.) so I'll be exchanging it whenever I get a chance.

Is there any simple way to back up all the stuff on my phone? I have a bunch of music that is NOT on my PC yet because it was downloaded directly from Amazon to my phone as well as a ton of pictures, apps, bookmarks, custom icons / themes, saved passwords, contacts, etc.

most of what you ask should be on your sd card. you can back it up by copying it all to your pc...

if you want to back up your free apps then get 'astro'. use its 'tools' to back them up to the sd card.

any paid apps are saved to your gmail account, and be available to reinstall on a new phone.

sms's aren't saved either, there are apps on the market to back those up.
