I was looking through my picture gallery and found 5 extra pics. Where did they come from? They were all of the man who starred in the movie called 300. ??? His expression was different in each one. All I did was download some apps today. Do you think there might be a virus on my Droid?

Do any of you know of a way to add a notification tone that will alert me until I have checked my messages?

any pictures, from any app, stored on the sd card will show up in 'gallery'. It is quite annoying. same thing with the music app and mp3's.

But I didn't even see the pics when I was browsing since I got my phone and no one else has used it. I'm stumped.

try mounting the sd card on you pc to find the pictures' folder of origin. it might shed some more light... you could also use something like 'astro' or 'oi file manager' to navigate your sd card from the phone to find them.

I have Explorer and one other file manager. I'll try to find them. It you delete something, does it stay on the SD card?

I think my 'new' Droid is a USED device!!! I plugged it into my PC to sync. I clicked "mount" as instructed on the forums. A slideshow popped up (not sure what I pressed after mount) and there were MORE pics I have never seen before! I followed the prompts to remove the phone safely from the PC. Do you think Wirefly sent me a used phone without wiping the SD card? This is ridiculous! I need to just wipe the whole thing as I don't have anything saved that I can't add back. Will a factory reset do the trick? I already did a factory reset a few days after I got the phone. Why all this garbage keeps popping up is beyond me!!!

I'm past my 14 day trial with Wirefly. I guess I can't get my money back. How do I wipe the card?

probably not a huge deal... you could mount the sd card on your pc and delete anything that isn't yours.

or go into Settings--SD card & phone storage--> unmount the sd card-->then the option to format becomes available...

it will erase data from any pics you have taken or that apps you have used might have stored on your phone! if you do this, i recommend doing one more factory reset at the same time.
