Root [ROM] ApeX 1.3.1 for Droid X - Running, running, as fast as it can (12/16/10)

Hey guys, did you get the Market/Gmail FC's figured out? I'm pretty sure it's because I updated all the Gapps to the latest versions, but if you came frome 1.2.1, they were downloaded from the market and are on /data

What you end up with is 2 copies of the same thing, and that's confusing

I've gone ahead and updated the instructions for 1.2.1 users that want to keep data, that they should just uninstall updates to all Gapps before flashing and they should be fine.

I SBF'd back to .320 after factory reset and getting ready to apply the 1.3.

I was on 1.2.1 before I SBF'd.

I went into manage applications and looked under GMail, Market, etc. and I do not have any uninstall updates. I do have some cache and data? Should I clear that or leave that alone?

If I continue to have problems, can we go into /data and delete one of the duplicates or is it more to it than that?

I havent experienced the GMail force close yet, but I have for the Market. There is really no rhyme or reason to when it happens really.

I gotta say your roms are freakin awesome, BTW. The way a phone should be!!!!!

Ah...I've been using musicmod, I really like the swipe gestures.

PowerAmp and WinAmp both have options for it as well.

Well done, Fab. I don't see how you do it without sleep. Very smooth. No problems. I really don't think this needs a theme. HowEVER, in a perfect world, I'd love a 10% battery mod, the REVO type lock and that revo mod app where the guy replaced verizon with Apex Revolution.

Is it life or death. No, not even close. Just sayin'... in a perfect world. Is this world perfect? Nnnnnnnnope.

Me too, just sayin'.... Not a deal breaker by any means though. This is already bad ass as is...

And about adding a theme. Not a need anymore. It is just the way I like it and the Gingerbread keyboard is super fresh....

Even if it overlapped the battery or was even off to the side a little wouldn't bother me. I love being able to have that and not have to use an app for it. It makes it very convenient and even in most cases even saves some space on your home screen depending on which app you use for it...

It's your world Fab, we just live in it, lol.....

Can't guarantee it (cause I'm at work and haven't loaded 1.3 yet), but 1.2.1 had the new dialer... So I'm guessing that 1.3 does as well.

I was on 2.3.15, restored a stock backup I made, got the .340 OTA, backed that up, and was good to go to install the newest Apex version.
