Why Is This......

Nexus S ships with Gingerbread 2.3 on the 16th of December. Gingerbread was released to developers yesterday so bugs can be fixed as well as other tweeks. So how does the Nexus S have a finished Gingerbread product already installed.

Thats not why they release the SDK of 2.3; it's to give developers a chance to update their software so their apps work when 2.3 is rolled out not to fix bugs.

Often a hotfix may come out shortly after release based on feedback, but that is not the purpose of the SDK release.
