Im assuming your refering to jts roms removing samsung apps? Because you can run a stock or deodexex rom with custom kernels and it wont affect that

Wifi is not an issue in any root stuff currently either or messaging as long as you have the right combos running

And what's the point of checking for system updates? The root crowd gets updates at worst the same time as others....or leaks way before. :cough: dj05 :cough:

Normally i wouldn't care but this seems a pretty extreme about face from someone a day or so ago was amongst the most pro root/overclock/voodoo

I agree that it sucks that we dont have 2.2 but no where did they give us a release date that you think they keep pushing back. We will get it shortly after the officially give us a release date. The dj05 is more important of an update than 2.2 will be. I am lloking forward to this release more than 2.2 right now as there are some things I want fixed.

Most signs point now to dj05 not coming out officially...,but its out at xda now which is easier to navigate than irc
