Internal memory to SD card...

Hi people, i am new here, and as well as new to htc desire ... i got it days ago ... n realise that apps installed cannot be transfer to SD card ...
my friend had a htc legend which he have no problem transfering it to SD card via connecting to comp... thats wat he told me ... i tot htc desire suppose to be better than htc legend ... ??? pls help... :(
 
Try going into Settings>Applications>Manage Applications> Click on the app > (and there should be a *move to sd*

this only works if the OP has froyo 2.2 installed on their phone.

The best thing to do really is to search the board here for the answer as there are numerous threads already due to internal memory...

..but in a very quick brief there are 3 options..

1) install apps2sd from the market place (again only for 2.2 android) and move the apps over, though only some apps will move, this is due to developer discretion.
2) use the "force install apps to SD" trick that as it suggest forces the apps to install on the SD card and this doesnt need rooting (again is 2.2)
3) Root your phone for total control and move as much as you want over to the SD card..

all 3 of these options are available by searching the board here..
