Just got an update notice from the marketplace looks like they are back with new look. not quite as beautiful but if you don't want the new look don't take the update.

I actually really like the design of the new clock. Instead of floating there on your homescreen, it actually looks integrated, like it belongs there and is a part of the phone. I'm not a huge fan of the clock font, though. Is that the same one that is on the 2.0.1 lock screen?

I believe thats the look he was going for. Its not too shabby, I still prefer the HTC style though.

Hmmm...much prefer the previous floating style, rather than edge-to-edge. Font on the clock isn't to my taste either...hopefully there will be options to change the font/style in the future. Developer has been great - frequent updates and improvements.

I dont mind the update , its OK. But I am always switching up my screens anyways so I never keep anything for long. Besides for now I still have my Weather Widgets Donate and its equally as nice and skinnable too!

I have to say, I was skeptical at first about the new look, so I made sure I backed up everything. Wow! I must say, I really dig the new look actually on the device, seeing it in the flesh. Especially with my wallpaper, it fits perfectly. It actually looks like a DROID. I guess, also in the fall-out with the HTC thing, I almost don't want any HTC-ish stuff on the phone anymore. Now, I can say that I'm not trying to pretend the phone is something it's not... it's a DROID, not an Eris. AWESOME, LevelUpStudios! Mad, mad props!

+1. I was somewhat disappointed when I saw the mock-up, but actually seeing the small home on my Droid, I'm very impressed.

I like that it shows the date now (not sure about others, but date wasn't shown on my small home widget previously), and I always thought the HTC widget looked a little like a pair of eyeballs.

Forgot about the date! Certainly a welcome addition. It lets me delete the clock from the power strip on Home++.
