Market update Question.

Hi there,

I was just wondering, with the recently released android market slowly trickling onto our phones, how exactly would it be downloaded.

Will it be an OTA update through the about phone menus or will it be pushed through without me noticing like with previoussmaller market updates.

Sorry forsilly question, and thanks for any help.

Yea it will be OTA, you won't even notice it updating in fact as its done in the background without any need from the user.

So it is just random who gets the update to the new market? I got the update but my wife has not yet. Running Galaxy S Captivate and it just showed up one day randomly. Newbie when it comes to cell phone stuff. Thanks all.

Non-rooted phones, yes, probably random.

Rooted phones, you can apply update now, at least for the Sprint Hero
