Root Dialer theme\app

Playing around with the current Froyo build the other night, the one thing I really loved was the dialer. The black theme with the letters on each number was very professional looking. Got me wondering if there is an alternate dialer out there that looks similar to that or if anyone has ever tried to theme the dialer to look more like the Froyo one.

Is that look from froyo, or just stock android? (i.e. is our less-good-looking one an LG themed one?)

When I have Velocity 0.3 installed, the Black and sleek dialer/incall screen you speak of shows for just a second, then the white we are used to shows up - I found it very odd to be honest..then I tried the Froyo Alpha, and was like holy crap! So apparently, those files exist in 2.1 aswell?
