Best Buy has been an absolute nightmare to work with. To begin with, the store near me only got 10 Nexus S's in stock, so despite being 7th in line that morning, I didn't get one.
So I resorted to an online order. For some unknown ridiculous reason, it was requiring me to add a data plan, even though the line already had one. I was concerned about being charged twice for data, so I called support. Support assured me that I wouldn't be charged twice and that it was just a default thing that had to be added. If my account already had data, it wouldn't be changed. The activation fee was also listed as $35 when it should have been $18. Support again said that it was just a default message and I would be charged the right amount.
So I made the order. The next day, I find out that my T-Mobile account has not only been charged a $35 activation fee, but I'm also paying an additional $30/mo for data I already have. I'm currently in the process of having that sorted out.
To make matters worse, I just received an e-mail from Best Buy stating that my Nexus S is backordered and won't arrive until sometime after Christmas, EVEN THOUGH THE ORDER PAGE SAID GUARANTEED CHRISTMAS DELIVERY ON THIS ITEM. The store page actually STILL says it. I called support and they told me that my only options were to wait or cancel the order (which already ****ed my T-Mobile account).
I really do hate Best Buy...
