What is up with liquid?

The last major thing we all heard was his system crashed, and I know a bunch of us kicked some cash his way to help out.....
No update? Did he get back up and running? Is he working on anything new?

I've been thinking the same thing over here... Glad someone else said it first though

I donated to the "crash fund", I heard about 1.96 if we donated. I never saw anything?

Not a huge deal as 1.95 is running well, but I am curious if some 2.3 gingerbread goodness might be on the way as the source for that is out now...

But I do find the lack of updates somewhat disturbing... (not software updates, just updates in general about what is going on)

Hopefully everything is ok in Liquid Land?

I read on DroidForums that he was having a bunch of issues and was repeatedly having to start over from scratch. There was also a discussion of donations and the little amounts that he and his themer had received but that thread has since been deleted (apparently it violated some forum rules). That thread, which Liquid himself didn't actually reply to (it was the guy who ports the themes to his roms - can't remember his hame) also stated that because of Liquid's recent job loss he's hurting financially and it's cutting into his ability to work on the ROM. I hope things improve for him because I absolutely LOVE his ROMs. Whenever it comes out I'm sure v2.0 will be amazing.

I love LFY. So far it has cause me not to upgrade to a new phone 3 times. I just like all the features and smoothness of it.
