I'm going to get a new PC notebook... Dell Adamo to potentially replace my Macbook Air. I really like Windows 7 and miss it.
I am looking specirfically at the Mac Book Air OR the Adamo.
PC. -I HATE Apple-
Apart from the SSD, why does the Adamo carry such a premium?
EDIT: seems like a complete waste to me
Love the design though

Main thing is the design aspect of it. It's an absolutely gorgeous laptop with a unique keyboard and font that isn't on any other notebook. The thinness is also really appealing. It's a steal at $823 (for the pearl white with the 25% off coupon) or $900 (for the brushed black aluminum).
No option to bump up he processor
No i5/7 and bad GPU (for the price of $900-100) seems a no go to me
For it's class, its processor is just fine. The MBA has a weaker processor at a higher price point. If it's GPU can play Netflix videos just fine, then I'll be happy. It's just meant for the style-conscious person who will use it for just everyday use, which is perfect for me. It's definitely not for everyone. If there was another notebook that thin, beautiful, more powerful, long-lasting, affordable ($900 is a steal), and fashionable... then I'd definitely consider it.
I can't imagine an i7 in a notebook like that. There's a reason why it doesn't exist for 13" notebooks. It would absolutely kill the battery life. I'm hoping the battery life is good in the Adamo. The MBA has the highest battery life currently. If it gets at least half of what the MBA gets, I'll be pleased.
Sorry I meant i3/5
Still feel this is a bit of a rip off
Personally I'd go for a Vaio in this class if I wanted some style
Either way I love my G560's looks
'cept the fingerprint magnet top
