I have been running Launcher Pro since I got my HTC Evo Launcher Pro sucks its to complicated and buggy so I am switching launchers.

1 "sucks" is subjective and personally i think lp is fine when you mess around with the settings and don't have multiple launchers
2 different phones will give you different experiences with.different launchers....since you have an evo you may want to compare with fellow evo users

+1 on that I run lp with no other launchers and have 0 problems with it. I think a big problem with ppl that are having problems with lp is they are running tw under it. Not realizing that tw and lp don't play well together.

I've had a go with all three on my Galaxy S and ended up sticking with Launcher Pro :)

I liked the idea of ADW with all it's themes, but other than that it didn't offer anough customisation for me. It was just too plain and I soon got bored of it.

Touchwiz is great, I love the iPhone style icons, yet the app drawer never sorting it's self into alphabetical order drove me mad.

Launcher Pro gives me a 3D Gingerbread style app drawer, 15 fully customizable dock icons (in 3 docks) and the perfect widgets for my home screen set up (My favourite two being; People - photos of my favourite contacts which I can just click to call or text them and Friends - Twitter and Facebook in one scrollable widget, I never even have to open the apps most of the time!)

I am one of those who use whatever the phone comes with. Ive had my fascinate almost a month now. I am coming from almost 7 years on a blackberry. This is very different, very customizable. What do the launchers do exactly? I just downloaded ADW launcher. I used to know my bb in and out.... now I feel like I'm starting over and its frustrating. I was to be able to use my phone to its fullest capacity.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

After finding out what a launcher was...LOL... I downloaded ADW and launcher pro..... I like them both, they each have their own features. I like on both how when you hold the phone horizontally the home screen rotates too. I had that on my BB storm! For now I will you launcher pro, I really like how I can customize more things!

yeah i think that (at least until the lpp rewrite) adw ex is a winner. its quick, feature rich, and not as big a resource hog...so its a good compromise :)

I don't have LPP on my SF....how will we know when the rewrite occurs? I would be interesting to try it too....LP caused my SF to lag and force close (probobly because I ran it over/with TouchWiz because I'm not rooted
