Very good champ, the answer I was at was no, I'm looking to see if anyone else has had luck... use the common sense, oh wait maybe your lacking that, common sense isn't so common these days

root is a pretty nice thing to have

it is top priority on many peoples list for these devices

people are trying to get info

if there was a break through it would be posted in that thread, last page, 2 click.

i know you aren't a noob, i know you know these things, which is why threads like this get answers like they do.

don't tout your 733T forum knowledge then ask to be spoon fed.

Seems they've pretty much hit a brick wall. They're trying some other, random stuff but it's not looking good.

Amazing how the DROID was rooted so fast..dudes have been working on the Eris for over a month.. and are just as close as they were before.

droid got rooted because some idiot programer at moto left a hole that allowed owner to bypass the sig check while updating.

the eris does not have this exploit so we keep getting stopped by the sig check.

so the next step is finding an exploit in the kernel since fastboot went bust.

Nahh nah I stay mad updated on the root status.
Just it's amazing how hard this thing is for the actual smart hackers to...well..hack.

It completely unlocks your phone. I'm looking forward to being able to move my apps to the sd card instead of using the internal memory. Should make the phone more responsive.
