Now I read a couple of posts about N64 emu. so do those exist? And would it be possible in the future for a playstation one to? I think playing Metal Gear Solid on my cell phone while waiting in line at the bank is pretty much equivalent to the satisfaction that some get from watching porn. :D Hahaha....I think im funnier than I am. But in all seriousness, is it possible?

I feel that games that require precision jumping just don't work to well with the Dpad. RPG's (Pokemon, Mother 3, Final Fantasy, Golden Sun) are amazing though, and the quick save feature on the emulators makes playing them in short bursts a dream come true.

Summary: Get Mother 3 and the english patch, f-ing amazing

The PS1 was not very powerful. I think that it's at least theoretically possible that the Droid could emulate it.

The PS2 (particularly due to the special graphics hardware) is probably a bit too much though. Even most PS3's can't emulate PS2 (except some early models that had some extra hardware to emulate PS2).

No.
Search Market for:
Snesoid
Nesoid
Gensoid

You have to acquire your own ROMs but they work great. I play Donkey Kong Country all the time.

These emulators are great, but the droid interface is quite limited, sadly.

I thought I read some BT keyboards can work now with the droid. What about BT or USB game controllers? The D pad and little keys are just awful for playing any action games.

BTW, anyone try out the mame emulator on a Droid?

Edit: Or maybe a USB gamepad? The port is on the correct side for something like this: http://www.tangshop.com/bluetooth-game-pad-bgp-100.html
But I know, the USB stack won't do anything but file transfer. And the BT HID stack is experimental...

is there some recommended key bindings to use on the moto droid. I haven't found a good combo

I set A and B on the left side with A and S keys. You have to remap the shift key from quick save to something else or you may have trouble when your fingers slip.

Honestly, it is very difficult to play anything on this keyboard. Duck hunt works well...

yeah i saw that...so if the 3gs can do it....the Droid def can. Someone would just have to think about the fact of RESOLUTION!!! Program it and lower the res! Native N64 resolution was 320x240! On a small screen like that it would look great at that res! And be incredibly smooth!

Hell yeah, play some Golden Eye on the Droid. I loved that game. And if it was possible to somehow play it online with others, that would be um, sweet :D

I play using the physical keyboard with W for Up, Z for Down A for Left and D for right. Also set Up left, Down Right etc accordingly. Then I have Enter for A and ? for B usually and then I set the Enter on the D-Pad for my start button and the Up direction on the D-Pad for select. All the emus works great for me, especially GameBoid.
