Android Phone 7 Theme

This was a great thread. Tons of great info and "how to"s. So far I've put together 3 screens, plus the lock screen:

Your layout and icons look really good. Thanks for posting!

Here's my interpretation of this theme. Most of the icons are designed to make me smile, something I would find difficult with anything other than Android...:)

I took most of my inspiration from this thread, although paulmz has done some fantastic work helping develop the theme here too.

Any questions about the above, let me know and I'll respond when I'm next on here.

Keep up the good work everyone.

HAHA Firefly and Fringe FTW. Looks good but that Mum black space is a bit distracting imo.... Otherwise, I love it. Scott Pilgrim under The Office (UK) is great

Obviously someone with good television taste

The "mum" widget shows what the person called from, i.e. mobile, and their number but I photoshopped that information out. Don't want people knowing my mother's mobile number

;) Ok, that mum thing makes more sense now. Just out of curiosity, what's Stephanie bloody wedding cake for? :p

So... I went down a somewhat more risky path with my WinPhone7 Theme.
This is the forum friendly version (I hope it's friendly enough). If you want to adopt my theme, send me a PM and I'll look at getting you the icon images.
Also, this isn't 100% complete. I'm still looking to add another homescreen and (hopefully) figure out a way to have the "left" and "right" icons snap to different screens.

Paulmz,

I resized some things for my Droid X. Only thing I can't figure out is why the batt stat icon comes standard with 120x135 icons...

I'm not sure what you mean... but what I did was just put the background tile image of the correct size for my device into a blank 120x135 png and it worked fine.

Yours looks fine, though. It appears you figured it out.

Ok, yeah, it seemed like some of them had black around them or white around the images.

The batt stat widget is only slightly off, it's hard to tell but it's just a few pixels tall.

I only redid the smscount app, the wifi widget, ringer widget, and brightness widget.

And I used that script that you had posted, took a little getting used to, but i figured it out.

Nice layout. So far I haven't found a way to have a Desktop Visualizer widget do a homescreen switch. You can, however, do it in the LauncherPro dock. Maybe just do those two images as part of your wallpaper and just have the two outer dock shortcuts set to the "previous" and "next" activities...?

Good work. Thanks for posting!

Here is my screen next to my home screen for common apps I use

Only thing that I don't like is I usually have the Advanced Task Killer widget, but i couldn't use desktop visualizer to link to that widget's action...guess i'll have to reskin that widget. oh well, here you go.

For anyone who wants to know what I did, I have my launcher pro setup to 4 columns and 5 rows.

I looked for an image that was 470x720 and laid out what my apps would be on a piece of paper.

I there any way you could post the icons? THANKS

Never tried this before so if it doesn't work you might need to walk me through it. I think I have included the tiles I have made, plus the same tiles without the lettering so you can make them whatever you would like.

Also, this is setup on the original Droid.
