Honestly, other than the large amount of toggles, Widgetsoid doesn't come close to Beautiful Widgets... not by a long shot.

No weather... limited customization... kinda ugly.

You can skin Beautiful Widgets to anything you like! Beautiful Widgets Skins - Guide and Gallery

Main reason I posted it was for people that didn't need anything fancy, just something simple that would suit their needs and it's free.

I already had a free weather widget (which now is a paid widget, so I'm glad I got it when i did) and widgetsoid suits my needs perfectly. This is what I had been looking for a long time ago and for a few months, I just used multicon's ability to create shortcuts that acted as widgets. Now, I have an entire transparent widget that isn't obtrusive to viewing my wallpaper.

Those are just folders that he created and put applications into. See here's mine. :D

I see thanks.

It also appears that your Fav Tools and Cool "Stuff" :D and other folders that you created are similar to his with the little "quad" icon setup on the folders. Did you use an app to create the folders or just the same process to make the folders?? If so, what's the app if you wouldn't mind mentioning...??

THANKS AGAIN!

The folders come default as part of the MIUI ROM. You add an app and four of the apps in the folder are displayed.

^^^
does your phone have to be rooted to have those types of folders with the icons?

I'm not aware of any app that has folders and displays them like this beside the MIUI ROM. Yes, you have to be rooted to get the folders and ROM.

There are other apps that utilize folders, they just don't display them in this way.
