How's The Internal Memory or Other Froyo Bugs?

Hi guys my Telus version of the Fascinate is coming this week and I'm looking forward to it.


Unfortunately I had the Bell Vibrant SGS version before this phone and my phone fell victim to the infamous internal memory issue and my phone turned into a giant paperweight.

Anywhoo... How is the Telus Fascinate? Any Bugs or other issues especially after upgrading to Froyo?

I have yet to encounter the internal SD card issue although battery consumption have increased since upgrading to Froyo. I have yet to figure out what is eating up all the juice.

I've had this phone since it was released back in November on Telus. I love it, battery issues aside.

I have a question regarding the internal memory. The Telus website advertises this phone as having 16GB of internal memory and up to 32 GB of external memory. My internal SD card has just over 13GB of space available and 7.33GB space free. It says my internal phone storage available space is 1.36GB. I'm just wondering what exactly is this "up to 32GB external storage"? Is there another SD card slot I'm unaware of?

Yes, there is a microSD slot under the back cover, right beside the sim card slot.

Well. I guess I should have just opened the back of my phone up to see. lol

But I was thrown off because under settings > SD card and phone storage the phone was telling me this:

Internal SD card:

-Total space: 13.03GB
-Available space: 7.33GB
-Format SD card

Under that is says:

Internal Phone Storage:

-Available Space: 1.36GB


I just assumed that internal storage would be onboard memory and the internal sd card was the expansion. lol Anyway, thanks for the reply. All cleared up now.
