I just want to "apply" a small picture from my gallery to my homescreen wallpaper. Any one care to tell me how? Please.

**note: This method definately works on EVO 4G using launcher pro. Unsure about HTC sense but should work using it too.

1) turn on phone and go to screen where you want to place picture
2) click menu
3) click add
4) click widgets
5) scroll down to picture frame and click picture frame
6) click gallery
7) select the album the picture is in
8) select the picture
9) crop the picture by placing thumb and forefinger on opposite sides of highlighted border
and moving it in or out to size you want. (Place finger inside highlighted box and move if you want to select a different region of photo note****might not be able to get full picture
10 click save ***it will then appear on your homescreen.

I see thanks.

It also appears that your Fav Tools and Cool "Stuff" :D and other folders that you created are similar to his with the little "quad" icon setup on the folders. Did you use an app to create the folders or just the same process to make the folders?? If so, what's the app if you wouldn't mind mentioning...??

THANKS AGAIN!

You can do this with Folder Organizer Lite.

Set up a folder (or label) and on the blue drop down arrow, you can chagne the icon to 'Show items in icon'

There will be 9 little icons in the icon, instead of 4

hey dude how did you get that text count icon on your dock? pls help me dude

djmonster:

It's a setting in LauncherPro: [Menu]-> [Preferences]-> [Dock Settings]-> "Dock Notifications". You can set it for missed calls, unread SMS, or unread Gmail. You just need to have the respective shortcut in the dock as well.

Hope this helps!

this might be a stupid queation so sorry im a newb. How do you get that little bubble on top of you gmail icon?

thanks

newb.

jvEVO510:

Looks like one of many apps that do this.

The one shown looks like: Gmail Unread Count.

There's a better one, though: SMS Unread Count, which has three separate widgets for missed phone calls, unread SMS messages, and unread Gmail.

Hope this helps!

Well, that's just a really nice and clean layout you have there. I like those toggle widgets along the right hand side. I'm assuming that's Widgetsoid?

Everything just seems to have it's own place. Very nice.

That's actually a scrollable dock bar called Scrollcut. It can scroll vertically to show other apps and shortcuts. For some reason it wouldn't allow me to change the icon of some of shortcuts I made. I ended up changing the icon in Folder Organizer then making the shortcut to FO which worked.
