Different Lock Screens for 2.0.1

Im 23 years old and go to MIT.
And? That somehow makes you above Santa? Surely a 23 year old MIT student doesn't need a silly forum to find out if the droid can do pattern lock (especially since the handy search button could have answered the question)! Why don't you just pull the code and check it out? :p

All of that to say "lighten up a bit ... its the holiday season" :).

Can you have any other lock screens with 2.0.1 then the regular slide to unlock? (like pattern lock) I am getting my Droid tomorrow, and wanted to know if I could somehow out a lock on my phone. Thanks.

lol was gonna ask if you were on the hockey team but then I remembered you said 23.

Go easy on him folks he's just joined the grad program congratulate him don't be harsh.

Jesus why is everyone so temper temper here?

Yes you can use the pattern lock, I don't personally because I don't want to accidentally make an emergency call.

...no you cannot revert to the 2.0 wheel unlock, which saddens me, even thought the new slider works better, I sometimes wish to use the wheel...it was nifty.

And just because you go to MIT doesn't make you smarter than the rest of us - people "donate" and get in to colleges they don't belong every day.

Whoa. Of all the reasons you could have chosen... being rich? If they're rich they don't need college really, what do you care they get in for free? Not to mention its a rare occurrence for colleges that aren't the top 3...

There are all sorts of crazy reasons. Geography. You're the one student from Wyoming applying to our school this year? Congratulations you're in!

Being Hawaiian or Mexican or even white? Grats we have slots for you, cause we have too many kids from the eastern continent to accept poor tim...

Anyways this guy isn't even in undergrad, so its likely he's taking some courses in a specialized subject. Completely different thing. Anything from super hardworking to noone applying to the japanese art program that year. So yeah you're right its not the be all but we don't know anything about the guy so no need to rip in to him.

I don't even remember who I'm replying to... just sayin.'

Your reasons are correct too - none of these make him smart either :)

You're right. I just took the understaffed side.

In general, the smahties don't get in the habit of having to inform everyone around them they're smart. So yeah, this guy is prob insecure or just put off by the replies he got here. Which may be understandable, as is people scoffing at it.

Edit for boring
