Cops hate me, well the local ones that know me, but they wont touch me now. I have onboard cameras in all my vehicles, plus a small handheld digicam with removable memory. Whenever I see them break the law, I report it to a different policing agency, such as sheriffs office or state police, and have them charged. I've gotten several officers fired. I'm hoping more people join me in my efforts of policing the police. If we have to follow the laws, so do police. Now before the officers on here start back-talking, here me out. I know most of you are law-abiding citizens, and great cops. But there are bad cookies who think they can get away with everything and often do for too long. When I was 17 years old a certain officer pulled me over and wrote me 146 tickets in a period of one month because I told him to lick my ......privates. Yeah thats not nice but thats my first amendment right. And I was 17, 17 year olds have done worse. Anyway. I filed a harassment lawsuit, but my lawyer said I needed some type of proof, it was essentially my word against his. So I busted out my handy camcorder, found out when said officer was on shift. And had a friend in another car follow me around while i drove in circles looking for the officer so he would pull me over. Took a while, but sure enough, 3 hours later, (and a tank of gas lol) he pulls me over. I did absolutely NOTHING wrong, I even was wearing my seatbelt. And BAM got him on tape. PERFECT! And I baited him a bit. I told him about the lawsuit and he finally put his foot in his mouth. He said, and I quote, " I'm a f****** cop I can do whatever I want." HA! I won my lawsuit, all charges (tickets) were dropped. Thank god for that. He lost his job. Bastard. Bottom line is, if the government can watch us, we can watch them. Its time to fight back.

Now am I missing something here? Maybe someone can point out exactly what I did to deserve an infraction other than posting my on-topic opinion and sharing a story with everyone? I don't understand what I did wrong? Thanks everyone in advance.

Slug had asked that the thread be kept on topic. The topic of the thread is apps for police. It wasn't meant to be a thread about what cops do wrong.

So did everyone who didn't post about an app for police receive this infraction or was it just me? Can I go around pointing out every little post that sways on a tangent?

General Conduct: Admittedly, I'm probably a little more anal about this topic than some. I have very little tolerance for uncalled for disrespect. With that said.. read on. Please treat other members with respect. These forums were put together for Android fans to come together and help each other, collaborate and discuss in a positive way – not bash on someone because you don't like their idea, or because they don't share the same views as you. We are big into the free speech idea here. So you're free to say what you think – but do it in a constructive, positive, 'add to the conversation' kinda way – not the condescending 'I don't like what you're saying so you suck and also, are a bitch' kinda way. We encourage mature debates – discourage childish arguments.

Oh and sorry if i mis posted this in the wrong spot, I didnt see the suggestion box thing.

We DO believe in free speech. If you want to post a thread about your experiences with police in the lounge, feel free as long ad it doesn't turn into a disrespectful war.

As for other people getting infractions, I'm out of town and only have my phone so I can't really check. Maybe Slug can shed more light on that.

For now, I'm going to go open some presents. I'll check back later.

are the only post that were on that subject. If iowa received an "infraction" for his post, then in all fairness everyone except the OP and the two listed above should have received one.

While I believe its ok to warn someone of getting off topic, I dont think iowa alone deserves this. He was in no way offending, rude or disrespectfully to anyone.

If this is the way this forum is going to be run, I will find it very hard to stay here. I will also not recommend this sight any more.

I hope there's more to this than what I can see in the thread, as in deleted posts, private messages or similar issues in other threads. If not, this appears to be very selective and some could argue heavy handed enforcement of rules. Overbearing and unfair moderation is the reason I stopped contributing on ppcgeeks, I sincerely hope it's not creeping in here too.
