Help Want to track my stolen LG P500

Hi, I was using Android LG P500 and it got stolen. Latitude is enabled on that phone but whenever I checked on internet it is not changed may be phone is still switched off :-( I want to change my Google account's password but worried that this might break Latitude working and I could not then track that mobile again. Can anyone suggest me, how can I keep my Google account safe without effecting Latitude service running on my Android?

I have nothing but IEMI number. Can google help me to find out from its GPS position?

Since you have the IMEI, you can contact your carrier to have it blocked. In my country we have the NTC(National Telecommunications Commision) to block that number no matter it's carrier. Maybe you have something like that.

But now a days, what they do is just dismantle the phone for its parts rather than selling it as a whole. Or they will change the IMEI number after it will be blocked.

You can call them or visit the website. But, I'd suggest going to them personally since its faster, calls and emailing isn't really reliable because they will not consider you a priority.

One more thing, you need the IMEI number and proof that it is your phone, a receipt when you bought it for example. Bring the phone's box too, it helps your case. Just fill out a form and talk to the employees there.

Hope it helps.

If you have lost your mobile in India, there are seldom chances to get it back. I am not sure if IMEA tracking is affective in india.( leave alone lattitude - there are enough geeks around)
Formally you can file an lost mobile FIR
