I'm sure that this has been covered somewhere in this forum but I'll posy anyways.

I just recently bought an HTC Evo and also purchsed the extended 3500 mah chinese battery off ebay.

Has anyone been able to find a completely full case for this that covers the front as well?

If people have made there own can someone post pictures of what they did and how it looks or any other solutions to this problem.

I find it extremely hard to believe that no one has made a full case for this yet.

P.S. I already know about the the case from from Innocase. I'm looking for one that covers the chinese 3500mah off of Ebay.

Thanks in advance for the help

Any silicone cases that allow the kickstand to be used? The Seidio Extended case doesn't cover the top or bottom, and the Seidio Rugged Extended blocks the kickstand.

I would just like a silicone case for the extended battery that could be used with the Seidio Extended Holster. Seems that's too much to ask from even Seidio.

I have the seidio 3500 mah with seidio back door and mounted in a seidio extended case. I just ordered the seidio extended belt clip because it seemed to be the only option.

Then I found this horizontal universal case, which I prefer, which seems to be big enough for my phone. I just ordered it so i will update when it arrives. Lists for $30 and this place has it for $20.99. Choose USPS and shipping is only $5+ instead of $8+ for UPS.

My seidio extended clip came in today and works quite well with the 3500 mah battery and extended case. I actually prefer the smaller profile of the case and don't mind the open top and bottom. The shape and texture of the extended case makes it easy to hold and operate one handed. The seidio clip is very low profile and secure. I'm liking this combination.

Though it's not recommended by Seidio, I haven't had any issues using the Extended case with the Innocase II clip. The fit is fractionally tighter than with the SIC II, but nothing that's noticeable unless you're staring at it.

As for full protection, I added a BodyGuardz shield to the top, bottom, sides, and screen and think everything will be ok. It would have been nicer if the Extended case had full coverage, but my workaround is fine.

I'd say just about any full body film/shield plus the $18 (Amazon) Extended case will work for anyone who owned an Innocase II + Holster combo. Best part is I can go back to the slim look with regular battery and case if I want to with no problem or additional cost.

Hello Red Rover.....

I like this case. When it arrives, please let us know if it will take the phone, plus the larg back when using the Seidio 3500mAh battery. If it fits, I think I am going to order it also. Does it have a back that fits onto your belt like this one:

Mybat Horizontal Carrying Case for HTC HD2 & EVO 4G (1242)

I like black better, but hav no idea if this case will support the large back of the Seidio & big battery.

Thanks

Red Rover....

Just got word back from Mybat Horizontal regarding the above case. They say it will not fir the HTC EVO with the Seidio 3500mAh battery and the Seidio larger bak that comes with the battery:

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, it will not fit. You will need a case that is about 10mm larger in thickness. Connie

I look forward to your report on the case you bought.

I also have the chinese Extended 3500 mah battery on my daughter's EVO 4. I bought the Seidio Extended Rugged Add-on (Product Code: BD2-HK4HEV4X) from www.seidio.com and was a perfect fit. Just by using the Add-on without the Innocase Extended. I can post some pictures if you want to see how it look.

I bought this off ebay for my wife's EVO with the 3500mah Seidio extended battery. It works fine although the power and volume buttons are cut outs rather than covered, so you have to get your fingernail in there to depress the power/volume. Might be a hassle. Claims he's getting different ones on the listing, but I dunno when.

Guy here in the US selling them (inventory here too), not drop shipped from the Far East.

A little pricey (he's just an individual who commissioned the mould so it's expensive to pay off!) but it does just snap on and it's more pliable than a hard case but more rigid than a TPC one.

Works fine.

Is it just me, or does that case look like it would better fit the Chinese 3500 mAh battery? The 4th picture, of the back, looks like the cut-out near the kickstand looks like it accommodates the more rounded look of the cheap (and frankly, better looking) battery cover that you get with the Chinese battery.

It's being sold as working for both the 3000 and 3500 mAh batteries so it's definitely a one size fits all kind of thing without being exactly correct for either.

Since it's the only case at all that fits the big battery (which we already had) without chopping up a case with a Dremel or Exacto knife, it's good enough.

But I agree it's not a good cutout fit.

I just got the Seidio Convert(was Rugged)hoping it would fit with the Chinese 3500 battery. If you leave the Chinese back on it won't fit.If you leave the Chinese cover on and leave the first layer(Seidio 360) off and put the rubber layer and the skeleton on it is a snug almost perfect fit and I would have been happy with that.I had a cheap Chinese snap case and used the front snap part.I then took a dremmal and ground all 4 corners, top and bottom edge on back side of the snap-on front down real thin.I just hold that on the front under the rubber part ,snap on skeleton and it's just right with a little extra protection. Again even without the snap-on part, out of the box would have suited me. The only other case I found was the Gorilla Gadgets case, but it left top and bottom too exposed for me.I hope this helps anyone.
