So I finally got the majority of the kinks worked out still need to deal with my spacing a bit due to the simi clock widget, but at least now I have the majority of the template sized and speced, these 2 shots are just a test to see how well it will work

Gonna try diff fonts and backgrounds now, as well as widget layouts

Thanks for helping me out made this go a lot faster and made it a lot easier, when I get it fully sorted Ill post up in the desktop thread ;)

I've been working with Irv via PM, and here is his new wallpaper :)

Irv_Wallpapercopy.png picture by Jsniper1 - Photobucket

Really nice, Daed. Thanks a lot!

Might I make a suggestion? Make the link to your image a clickable thumbnail. From Photobucket - Under Share this photo hit "See more" > Get link code > Img for bulletin boards and forums > Copy the whole "Clickable thumbnail" code > When making your post here, Open the Insert link button ( this
createlink.gif
), paste that code and click OK.
End result ↓

You have been added as a contributor in the first post of this thread. Sadly, although super-awesome, this huge honor comes with no monetary prize or even special forum powers. Just the knowledge of a job well done, and a smug sense of satisfaction. :p:D Congats!

Hi again mate, had an idea. Not sure if it would work but would be a good challenge for ya. How about a LEGO angroid? thats as far as my idea got, but im sure your creativeness will flow.

Alrighty, here you go. I'm guessing that you think the Android should be a little smaller, but I put a lot of tedious work into it's creation and I just can't bring myself to shrink it - yet at least. Maybe when I'm not so sick of staring at it... :p Anyway, let me know what you think.

You know the whole save routine, so -

Absolutly love it, thanks mate. WIsh there was something i could do to give something back to this forum, i have no skills tho lol

Again thanks, love your stuff....especially the droid stuff, saved most of them.
No need for skills. Just be a part of the community, thats the best way I know of to give something back. Hell, talk some friends/family into getting android phones and signing up!!:D
And I appreciate the thought these are good enough that people might want to make a donation to the eyebeam fund, but it just seems kind of jerky, to me at least.
Well it's not jerky.. AND it's a good idea. I would of donated by now but you never gave me your mailing address so i could send all this Team Edward memorabilia you're so into:p:p
That is awesome.

Loving the lego one!! Great job TE (also to the member who suggested it!)

Thanks guys! It's super nice hear. Especially because I did so much detail work on that one. I stupidly made each individual block (1x2 2x2 1x4 4x4) in 4 colors, each both vertical and horizontal (to get the shading in the right direction) and built it like I was using regular Legos. I wasn't 'till it was done that I thought of making one android shaped Lego texture and colorizing block shaped areas. Sigh...

Well it's not jerky.. AND it's a good idea. I would of donated by now...

Again, while I appreciate that some would want to, that's not really why I do this. I think of it more as a hobby and creative outlet. Seriously - I do it as much for myself as others.

Also, I fear some may not ask me to make one for them if they saw that others were donating but didn't have the means to do so as well.

I'll send you my mailing address so that you can FINALLY ship off that WaterPik! :D:mad: And if you do insist on sending me some Twilight crap, please make it Jakob stuff. The wife assures me that he's much cuter.

I have the ideas but not got the skills to pull them off haha

Look at the beginning of this thread - I'd hardly say that the early stuff was very impressive. If you've got the ideas I'd say that's the hardest part. With some practice your skills will improve.

Back again! I just can't seem to stay away from this thread. :p

My request this time is a little odd, so I'll try and explain it the best I can.

I stumbled upon the layout that is below this sentence a while ago and wanted to try it out, however the background behind the clock/weather/calendar is part of the actual background which is too "bland" for my tastes.

Layout in question:
snap20110113215509.png

What I'm wondering is if you can get as close to that background behind the clock, weather, and calendar as possible on the most recent abstract wallpaper you made for me (also below, just in case), though transparent enough to still be able to see the design on the background. (If you wanted to swap the colors in the wallpaper around for something a little lighter to better accent the "widget background" I would be open to that as well :p)

Background in question:

Hopefully this isn't too weird of a request, and as always; no rush.

Just for good measure, ignore this if you please;

wondering if you can make an all black SRT-4 neon with red lettering saying SRT like the blue one? and putting the Mopar "M" on the bottom right corner

Do you mean something like this one?

srt4_eyebeam%20960x800.jpg

If so, I'm not sure I can find a good Neon in black, but I'm pretty sure I could re-tint the same one to look black. Also, it was one of my early ones, so I'd probably tighten it up a bit. Good enough?

If it's not this one, can you point me in the right direction?

Ok, let me see if I've got this straight - Here's a super quick example of what I think you want, centered on the abstract -

Is that about right?

What - do you think I'm stupid? If the Eyebette says Jakob, I say "fair enough". I've learned a few bits of wisdom in 18 years of marriage. :p

Oh, and one other thing...

waterpik-ultra-cordless-dental-water-jet-wp450.jpg

Sure... it was eyebette that made you switch:rolleyes::rolleyes:
And quit coming to me for all your dental problems! No waterpik for you!!
(unless they have a twilight themed one... wait, can you design that?)

ya that would be cool if you retinted the blue one black and did the wheels in a flat black color. I want it to look like a drawing of my srt4. But do a gunmetal style color as the background red lettering saying SRT-4 and a Mopar Red "M" on the bottom. As for tightening up, go ahead haha. Your the pro at this and from the looks of everything you have done it has been pretty good. So for tightening up do whatever would look better :D
