New to Andorid

Hi - I just got a Samsung Moment after having used a Palm Treo for almost 3 years (and loving it), but it started to feel "outdated" and since we wanted to stay with Sprint, our only choices were the HTC Hero and the Samsung Moment. I was quite appehensive about the on-screen keyboard, so I am trying out the Moment.
I love the OS, the UI and the feel of the devices, BUT - what about the battery running out in no time!

I will visit the forums and see what other people are doing about it!
