Seidio Innocell Slim Replacement Battery

I took one look at Seido's extended battery's pregnant door and moved on. And, I wasn't wild about the whole cradle-charger thing, since that would still tie me to an electrical outlet EVERYtime I needed it ---or, removing the battery for changes, triggering a reboot. Decided instead to take a chance with an extremely portable External Charger, and am very glad I did:

Amazon.com: External Battery for Iphone, Iphone 3g, Iphone 3gs, T-mobile G1, Ipod, Sidekick, Blackberry, Nokia, I-UP 5400 Mah: Electronics

The box includes a bunch of assorted tips, so all kinds of stuff can be charged with it. I get several Droid charges off of it. So, once it's juiced to the max, I know I can go several days without being concerned about an electrical outlet -- proven during holiday travels. 3 things I love about it: relatively small, considering its incredible inherent power; consistently reliable; and, the ease factor-- just plug it into the Droid's mini-USB, so no reboot required as would be the case with a battery-cradle style charger. Just like when you use a wall charger, you can keep on doing whatever with the Droid as it recharges. Curly-cord is long/flexible enough to set it on the side as you work with the Droid.

Tip: The price fluctuates when you buy thru one of the 3rd party vendors partnered with Amazon Prime. I used the PriceDrop Firefox add-on to get it for about $43 thru Lucky Packs (@ 3.5 weeks ago). Today, that vendor charges over $60. Patience is your friend here!!

until i get correct info about this slim replacement battery (being that its 1350 rather than the 1400 oem), i am just curious about getting a 'charging dock' just for a seperate battery. i've seen them but i cannot find them anywhere again. anyone know where to look? (link possibly?)

I ordered mine from Fommy.com. It is slim and smaller in size than I expected. It works perfectly.

Seidio has 3 batteries on their site for the Droid

Extended
Slim
Slim Extended

The Slim Extended with more power than the OEM is still under development and the capacity is TBD and the one linked on the OP is not described as having more power in the same form factor.

So basically the current slim battery they sell is just meant to be a regular spare(although it is slightly less powerful than the OEM), right now it's on sale for $25 with code DROIDBATT if anyone is looking for a spare.

I'm holding out til they release info in capacity of the Slim Extended before I decide what my extra juice option will be.

I had the Seidio extended on my Curve, but was not a fan of the extra bulk, don't think I want to do that again, the Droid won't look hot with a big butt! The external charger would be handy too, I may keep an eye on the price and pick one up if I see it cheap enough.
