After having ridiculous problems with it, like it cutting my WiFi off every time I get a phone call and not letting me view web pages, rapidly draining battery by constantly switching from 3G to 1X after sending or receiving text messages, force close messages etc.

Some dorky lookin dude with a plaid shirt and a bad haircut walks up and asks me to see the phone, so I hand it to him. He tells me that he's going to do a hard reset.. I tell him I've done that twice in one day and it didn't solve a thing.. "Well I'm going to do one." he tells me.. like he can magically make everything better if HE does it..

He takes it back there... resets it, I'm waiting for maybe 15 minutes..he comes back out and hands me my freshly wiped f*ckin phone and tells me "Well I used it for a few minutes to try to make those things you reported happen but I couldn't...".. hands me the phone and I don't even look in his direction and I say "thanks".
Yeah thanks for nothing.
My youtube videos still don't play, WiFi doesn't work, and my phone still lags on Sense UI.

Just a rant/story about my dealings with Verizon's customer service morons.
I'm stuck with this thing til March it looks like.

HTC tech support told me that there are no more 3g/1x problems (even though mine continues to switch). After two calls and three emails, I've finally had my issue escalated to a supervisor, and I have yet to hear back from them.

So, the HTC support is in denial just like the VZW reps.
I didn't expect it to get any better dealing with VZW.
Right before we left was the cue for my mom to threaten to switch to T-Mobile... that fell through. :( XD

HTC Support is worthless. They are rude, can't stray from the books kind of reps...useless. I sent my Droid Eris back. Screw it, after two of them doing the same thing and seeing others having the same problem. Its not worth it. No one can say whether its a hardware or software issue (poor reception) along with other stuff. Something better will come, I went back to a regular phone until then.

Oh yea...and the random 1/2 reboot my phone (and several others) does after unlocking the phone. It goes back to the HTC screen and boots up from there. No one can tell me why but HTC swears it is supposed to do this and nope, it ain't being fixed.
Lmao. I swear... I don't even care anymore dude, I'm keeping this thing til March and then I'm getting the new Superphone if it's released by then.

I think the smart thing to do would be to wait 3 weeks after the Superphone comes out to see if it has more issues that the Eris
At this point I don't really care what problems that phone would have, at least it has specs to back it up. :p
I won't really be able to wait anyways since it's my mom's contract that's running out in March, and I'll get her to get the Superphone and I'll give her my Eris and have the numbers switched.

i`ve had mine since 11/11 with minimal issue. when the update came i had no issues.
just be careful which apps u load on your computer (phone).
I didn't have a single app installed on my phone when it locked up while I was in a call. I came fresh from the store with a factory reset phone. I took it back and they bullsh*tted me.

I love the "blame the apps" response.

Hons, I have two (yup, two) apps installed:

ATK
Google Sky Map

The phone still screws up. I don't think it is the apps.
Yeah well I'll reiterate that I didn't have any installed all day yesterday and it was acting just as stupid as it did before I took it to the store.
