12-18-2009 I use "Automated Task Killer" and star' just about every app to auto kil when I turn the screen off Works great and saves the battery very well I let k-9 email, google maps and Droidlive run all the time without auto kill, then I use "Advanced Task Killer" to kill those apps when I don't want them to run. This process is has been working wonderfully.

question I didn't consider before, does this Automatic Task Killer always run in the background and eat up battery even when the phone is locked. Guess there's no simple solution, but I'll try it out anyway 12-18-2009 inZtein It does run in background but does not effect the battery whatsoever. I've tested this extensively. Make sure you add Automated Task Killer in the exception list of Advanced Task Killer.

challenging? no way, just giving my opinion.. lol, dont be so sensitive. i was just trying to help. you like , you like. i dont and many others dont either. unless you have 100 apps, its not time consuming to go to the 4 or 5 apps that run in the back ground and shut them off. the app killers actually use more battery that what they save.. read about it. it is what its is my friend

all my posts are negative? how so?

BM, what do you think, I'm just spewing bs? Unlike you, I actually test things.

You can monitor what processes are using what percentages of the battery and cpu, and I did that for quite a while with this process.

I'm not just going to post bs without testing. However, yourself, you just go around reading forum posts and spreading bs you never even tested.

You're the one with all the problems, maybe you should take some advice and maybe your MT wouldn't be such a piece of shit.
