Now that the Hero has been out for a good couple of months, I'm sure there are several users here that have tried out different types of full body skin protections.

I have always been against Zagg because I have a friend that used one for his G1, and it started to changed colors and peel around the corners a lot. It looked very unnattractive, and Zagg is expensive anyways.

Is there anyone else who have tried other brands? Ghost Armor? Best Skins Ever? Wrapsol?

Which is the best?

I have the Zagg Invisible shield full body coverage except the screen. I've had it on since late october with no discoloration or peeling.

I'm using Ghost Armor and am loving it.

I purchased the full set of skins to protect the whole body, but the pieces meant for everything other than the main screen and buttons left a lot to be desired and I ended up pulling everything off within a day. They just never quite fit at the corners and left ridges everywhere.

The pieces covering the main screen and buttons though went on perfectly and have been on there for over a month now with no problems with peeling or bubbling or anything else.

I have had my skinit skin on my phone for a couple months now and thought I'd share it with you guys in case anyone was interested in them. It has held up very well so far. It isn't peeling off at all and I must say the quality of the print is amazing. I used thier custom skin creator and made my own using some of thier stock images which I then rotated and resized to make my image. I wasn't too excited with the edges of the sticker when i put it on because I liked the smoothness of the phone. But over time it stopped bothering me. Also, I've never put a sticker like this on a phone before, I like a clean look, but I am very happy with this product and enjoy the uniqueness of my phone.

-edit- I made this a new thread because it isn't a full body skin. I just wanted to show it off and see what others thought of it.

I just came to the Hero from a Pre and can only speak of my experience there. Over on the Pre forums they're rabid about skins. The general consensus was that Phantom Skinz was by far the best choice. They're dirt cheap and come 2 to a pack.

I bought a set for my Pre and they were fantastic. I had Best Buy install it for me and she said as she was doing it "You know, we don't sell these and I always heard they were the best one out there. After playing with it I totally agree. These are much better than the ones we sell.' They stock the Zagg ones there.

I've already ordered my set for the Hero.

I think most of the skins that are made from the military grade polymer are good. Some are better due to different manufacturing process. I have only used the zagg, bodyguardz, and best skins ever. Best skins ever was good but it is a bare bones buy as in no fluid and no card to get the fluid out. I have been very satisfied with the bodyguardz. It didn't have the orange peel texture like the zagg and seemed to work smoother. But for now I am going naked.
