Xscope.....
Just wanted to say I bought it yesterday. Great browser and great support!! Super fast and love the homescreen.
It even launches from the Home++ browser button on the powerstrip when you make it default!!!
Couple of things:
When I try to add a bookmark to my hotmail or yahoo inboxes....I get an FC. This happens whether I try to bookmark the sign-in page or the inbox itself. I have not had this problem with any other browser.
Keep up the good work!!!!!
The five things I like best about your browser:
1) SPEED
2) Zooming options
3) Small real estate taken by tabs
4) The tiny line showing progress of webpage loading. That's all you really need! Awesome!
5) SPEED
What I'd like to see.
- Graphical/layout
1) There is some space wasted in the address bar. I'd move the buttons together and give more room to the actual text of the address bar so we can see more text. However, this might make it harder for people with stubby fingers to hit the buttons accurately....but I think not.....the keys on the soft keyboard are closer together. I might even make the font a little smaller.
2) While I like the simplicity, I think some use of color or shadow for the address bar icons may not be a bad thing and it will polish the look significantly. I'm sure simplicity does not need to be sacrificed for polish.
- Functions
1) on the home page address bar where it says "home". I'd like to be able to tap that and select all text "home" to backspace and enter my address. Right now, it just places the cursor and I need to delete character by character.
2) The ONLY reason I keep Dolphin now is for Youtube download. You enable this and Dolphin is GONE!
I would rather pay for a browser/program than have it waste time/bandwidth/screen real estate with ads! (This would be for a core program that I use daily....However if its just a once or twice use program.....I'd prefer free with ads) You are going the right route.
Again....these are just my opinions.....Your job would be to figure out what you can include that would appeal to most people since you will not be able to please all. This is just my two cents.
Awesome job again!
