Be nice if it came with the purchase. My wifes Storm2 came with a big manual from Verizon. Small enough to take into a coffee shop or restaurant and play around with the new toy. I hate the idea of 50+ pages of 8 x 11 sheets. The manual is loaded with info versus the user guide. Good post!

Yeah, do what I did. Call Motorola bitchin' about the battery cover being loose and falling off. They apologize and say they are going to send you the new and improved. I just got the "battery door" yesterday and it is funny how much the door looks like a Droid User Guide hard-copy!!

I really wish outsourcing was illegal....

The problem with a paper manual is it will be outdated/possibly incorrect after an upgrade to the OS and open source OS's move faster than close source. On the desktop space KDE updates monthly now. I sometimes update once a month myself if I see they added new features. Any user manuals/guides have to be updated with each release. If we do get android 2.1 in Jan there could be changes/updates.

I really wish outsourcing was illegal....
