LOL that reminds me of reports on a video hobby website I used to frequent back in the day. A lot of people were buying these blank DVD recordable discs from this one company due to the low price (this was back when a blank DVD was like $3.00 or more in a retail store). Anyway a lot of people claimed that when you opened up the package it smelled like ... you guessed it ... maple syrup LOL
