So I was looking through the videos I shot with my Evo and I'm seeing that a lot of them are pretty bad quality, I guess I haven't noticed before but a lot of videos play back real jerky and have a slight lag. Looking back at my old HTC Hero videos, the quality is much better. I don't get it, I've seen some fantastic videos that people have posted with their Evo's

Is there a setting I have to pay attention to? I feel like I've went thru all settings in the video camera area and Im still getting horrible results. On the flip side my Evo takes great pics. Any help?

Try using the h264 codec rather than 720p. That's the best advice I can give other than suggesting to look through the other multiple threads on this subject. Somewhere along the line HTC changed something. My phone took much better videos day one vs now. Some also suggest a higher class SD card can help the issue

Yea I have heard that updating the sd card helps which I will consider. I am going to try that other codec and see if it helps. Thanks
