For a low/mid budget phone then I'd look at the LG Optimus One.

But if you can afford it the HTC Desire HD is awesome.

Could you wait until around during early February 2011?

Cause there is a new updated source that inform about the HTC Merge release date , with an interesting comparison with HTC Wildfire , HTC Desire and Samsung Galaxy line of phones.

Also, I observe that for past few months, HTC Merge always is valued as the hottest phone, and many people are longing for the date it is released.

wow...actually, i plan on buying a new phone only by february end...
so i got time...
how much does the HTC Merge cost?

the thing is...the HTC Merge is BIG! it ain't for me... i need sumthin like the LG Optimus One, but i gotta make sure tht this phone dsn't have ne problems. cuz i've heard LG has quite a bad impression on customers.

For that budget, I suggest to have the HTC Wildfire. LG Optimus One is a good phone but the camera kind bad.
