Help Working with folders

Ok here is what I want to do. I want a folder on one of my screens that I can put photos into it so I can get to them quicker. So I made a new folder on my screen, but don't see a way to bring photos from the SD card into it. Can someone help me out with that?

I chose to put a new folder on one of my screens. I even renamed it. But I see no way possible to actually add any files to it. Can someone help me out with that?

Drag and drop. Long press the widget, then hold it and drag it to the folder. If moving it to a different page, it may be easier if you drag it to the top of the page first.
