I'm trying to flick the T and when I do what you said...it comes out 'type'. What am I doing wrong?

Awesome! I'll leave my last post in case someone else can find it useful.
Yes, start slowly, and get a sense of the right distance to slide which makes a good "flick". Once you have that ideal distance down, then you can speed up & flick pretty fast.
I was thinking of suggesting the same thing for a revision at some point. First, to be able to remove a word from the dictionary (I've already accidentally entered a word or two that now keeps popping up and I'd like to delete it). Second, some way to change the default choice for a particular key entry (like the abovementioned example of "hate" and "hare").
I also like the idea mentioned above, now that there are 12 function buttons, of having the option to have maybe the first two or three characters of the saved text string show in the cursor bar for each, instead of "F1", "F2", etc.
Thanks again for the great work.
Hi I bought your great app and I love it more every time i use it. I was wondering if you will include some sort of option like a custom autotext dictionary, where typing a shortcut will automatically bring up your programmed word.
For example, if I put in the custom autotext dictionary "How r u" Keypurr will automatically put "How are you"
I'm not sure if this has been asked or addressed, but I've always wondered if this is an option available to will become available. By the way, great job on the 2.0 update!
imjhh,
Sorry for the delay. Were really happy you like Keypurr sand we appreciate the suggestion. We are looking into your request, however our main goal right now is to ensure that what users actually type gets conveyed as accurately as possible. Unfortunately, while your idea is a good one, we can't see a way of implementing it effectively, consistently, and without detracting from the main goal I stated, in the near future. We will try to include the feature in a later release (possibly 3.x) but we can't make any guarantees.
Sorry, I hope you don't like Keypurr any less as a result of this.
Yes, you can access the user dictionary on most phones -not HTC devices but we're working on as workaround for that. We've also got some ideas about methods for allowing users to adjust word priorities. The issue with "hate" vs "hare" is noted and will be changed in the next release.
