Accessories Review: Seidio Innocase II & Clip Holster Combo

Just received my seido case, it took about 7 days, free shipping and it is hands down the best case I've tried on the hero. It is much thinner than the body glove that I tried and has a great quality feel to it. Granted, I wish the side by the volume rocker was just a tad bit more aligned, other than that is completely worth the $30.

Edit: just sanded that side slightly and it is aligned now, what a nice case.

So the carry holster holds the phone facing in, can you have it facing out? I need a holster with a belt clip and have the phone facing out. I like to be able to clip my phone onto something and have it facing me. Like on my desk at work.

I tried it....U can have the phone facing out....in fact u can access the headphone jack easier with it facing out.

Handhelditems.com has some decent cases

...Hero cases seem to be a fail right now, hopefully stores will start to carry a good variety soon

My guess is because iPhone accessories pretty much dominate the shelves. When I got my Hero a few weeks back at Best Buy, the cases/accessories shelf had a couple items for Blackberry, everything else was for iPhone, pretty much every case under the sun - in every color. Same went for Zagg items; slots for one or two "other" phones, but stacks and stacks of Invisible Shields for iPhone.

Wouldn't happen to have a picture of this would you? Only reason I have not gotten the seidio case is the fact you couldn't access the headphone jack with it in the holster

Just tried it, while it does seem to work, I don't trust it. It does not hold the phone as well with the screen facing out.

It would be very very easy to dremmel out the clip a little to allow the headphone jack to be used while in the holster.

Got My zagg full body shield friday, put it on last nite. Got my innocase today. I wouldn't recommend, based on my experience, combining the full body. I can't get the friggin innocase off. It is so tight, or maybe cuz of the tackiness of the zagg, but i can't get the top off without a fight. This isn't good if you wanna do a battery pull or change your sd card.

*Update*

After messing with it a little... if you remove a the side pieces, it makes it easier to take off. Was about to remove the whole shield for the back cover.

I got my combo yesterday and have a couple of comments. First let me say I really like it, good quality. The case fits very tight and snug. The feel is kinda soft but a little bit slippery to me. Not bad but compared to the gel cover I was using, the gel had a good non slip grip.
I like the design of the holder, good felt liner to protect the screen and with the back of the phone facing out I can play music when my wife and I go walking. I do wonder how long the spring will last on the release and worry about bumping something and the phone falling off. Also when you take the phone out of the holder I have to watch to make sure my shirt does not get between the holder and the phone when mounting the phone on the holder. Not a big issue just an observation. And last the one thing I may have to adjust is the holder belt clip is a little tall and kinda pokes me in the side when seating down.
Overall good product and recommend the combo if you don't want to carry the phone in your pocket. If you do prefer the pocket I would still but just the case.
I am interested in seeing a 360 design for the Hero, could be better and maybe not.
