What are you currently reading?

Usually i won't ever do that but right now i'm reading Nightangel on my fiancee's kindle and the Denali on my phone via aldiko. It's a little weird for me but i usually don't read unless i'm at work so now while at home i steal the kindle whenever i can
I've almost always had 2 or 3 books going at a time. I think it started when I'd be somewhere and not have my book with me. I'd pick up something to read, the next thing I know, I'm hooked and have to continue. Things have been busier for me since New Year's Day so I don't get to read as much as I'd like:(

I hear ya. Actually, once I finish the three I have going, I'm going to go one at a time until my life slows down some.

I'm still on the nicotine, just not tobacco. Got e-cigs and have been "vaping" to satisfy my nicotine and the hand to mouth cravings.

Just started "Debt of Bones" as I'm rereading the series in preparation for the release of the new book.

Goodkind is releasing another book?? I haven't been following. Is it in the SoT series?

Also, to NightAngel and the rest of you who recommended SoT, I LOVED that series. Are there any other that you recommend that fall in line with that one?

I just finished reading a book called The Unsuspecting Mage by Brian S Pratt from the Morcyth Saga. It was pretty good. I actually got it because it was free on my Nook. I am interested in reading the rest of the series but haven't bought the second book yet. It is kind of in line with SoT (but not as good).

As far as what I'm reading right now, Hush Money by Susan Bischoff. I'm only half way through the book (first in the Talents series) and I love it so far.

Yea, that was one of the best series i ever read, anyone who doesn't read it is missing out BIG time (*cough.. roze..*cough)
Try Night Angel series from brent weeks, also great series

I think so. 'The Omen Machine' is listed as the 12th book on wikipedia.

I don't know much more than that though, I only started the series recently and I don't want to accidentally read a spoiler.
So technically NO, it is labeled, so far, as a richard and kahlan story. SOT series is over, this is the start of something new, a new chapter in their lives. From what i've read on his forums it is expected to be a trilogy.

I know more about the plot AND i don't think there are any spoilers but it is easy to say that when i already read the series, so for xyro's sake i'll say no more;)

What book you on anyway bro?

Awesome, thanks, I'll give that one a try. I'm gonna have to check on release dates and stuff for the new book. I'm very excited about it! I was lucky enough to get signed copies of the last book so I'm gonna check back and see if the guy will have signed copies of these, as well.

The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest by Steig Larsson (one of the best thriller/mystery writers I've ever read from. No Kidding.)

Glad to know people still love to read these days. :)

Just downloaded that trilogy per your summary of his work in the recommend thread. Might tackle it after i finish the last 3 denali books. Thanks!

Just started book 9 'winter warriors' i think its called.... good series but very different then what i'm used to

I was looking last night to see when it comes out, and its due to release on my birthday (July 19) this year. Very nice present I must say, Mr. Goodkind!
I just hope that it gets released for the Nook at the same time or I'll be very sad.

Looking for another book to read now. I'm thinking Bernard Cornwell now. A friend couldn't stop talking about what he's written and I think I'm going to take the plunge.

Well, I read a few months ago that he was intending to make all of the SOT books available in eBook format soon. So maybe he's embracing eBooks a bit more now.

(Although I checked a week or two ago and it was still only the 1st book available as an eBook).

The admins and mods on terrygoodwin.com/forum reported that all would be available soon in e-format. But then again they also said his new book was due out sooner than july:mad:. Will have to investigate that, their forums suck right now though, i've got 4 different accounts on there cause within 10mins every time the site logs me out and won't accept my password anymore, even if i reset it:mad::mad:

It'll probably blow *SS anyways, because I'm sure my company will send me to the other side of the continent to work. I really really can't wait to have "paid my dues" so I can work more locally (and my wife would be happier as well). But, thats neither here nor there, or even relevant to this thread.

I was looking on amazon just for kicks last night, and thats what I saw. Feb would be better though! Being on the road, in a hotel, when its cold and snowy = lots and lots of reading time. Last week where I was, it was -40 at night a couple of times, so no outside time unless I'm heading to work and back!

Is it a biography? At least a completely factual account? Would be an interesting read I'm sure. Even though they would have never beat my Red's anyway, :p

Nick... This particular W P Kinsella book is fiction. The movie adaptation, for what it's worth, was the Kevin Costner film, Field of Dreams...

Ghosts playing baseball in Iowa would likely make the nightly news! :p

You would think! lol
I'm familiar with the movie, i remember when it came out and i'm a fan of Costner. Didn't realize the movie was based off this book though. Still, would be a good read.
