Your most used/favorite browser?

Opera Mobile (released just last week) seems to run the smoothest. Every other 3rd party browser would have about the same performance as stock maybe slightly better or worse, but Opera Mobile seems like the first browser that is clearly 1 level up in terms of scrolling. If only it had better rendering and all of DolphinHD or Xscope's features, it would be the perfect browser.

I am stuck with Dolphin. Sometimes I think it is slow and/or laggy, but overall I have very few issues with it. The reason I am stuck with it is because I can't let go of all of the add-ons, they are great. One of my favs is the lastpass add-on. I subscribed to lastpass and my having a paid membership I can use this add-on that syncs all of my saved passwords from their service, I never have to remember any of my passwords again.

Eric,
Thanks for the reminder. I had tried Miren a while ago but didn't like it. I just tried it again and it is really terrific. I love the home page, including the top sites page. Also, the fact that you can put bookmarks into folders is great.

There are a couple of weirdnesses, but name the software that doesn't have its quirks :)

Thanks again.

Well, I've used Dolphin browser, Dolphin HD, Firefox Mobile, Opera Mini, and the stock Android browser.

The 3 that I use on a regular basis, are the Stock browser, Opera Mini, and Firefox Mobile (it's gotten better since the last release).

I didn't like Dolphin browser or Dolphin HD, because they both ran on top of the Stock browser, essentially a skin if you will. Didn't really care for that.

would your statement be true on all versions of Dolphin ... and is the firefox mobile improved since the last sluggish release?

and can it play flash now?

thanks :)

I used Dolphin Browser HD for the longest, until I found Miren Browser. Haven't looked back since.
Same here so suprised not many people have Given the Miren Browser a shot. Ive tried every almost every browser for the Evo and Ive got to say Miren is the best Browser for the Evo.

Dolphin past the shortcut features doesnt offer much
Skyfire is just Ugly
the stock browser well its just that
and i cant recall what drove me away from xscope

I have only downloaded Dolphin and it's a major resource hog.

can I ask what this means, exactly? does dolphin use more battery than the others? CPU?

I really liked miren until I tried to watch any flash videos. It didn't seem to like them much and really slowed down. Dolphin hd still seems to play trhe nicest with any flash content, at least for me.

I wish I liked the stock browser, but it just seems really clunky to me

Until I can find a way to change the user agent in the stock browser, I'll keep using Dolphin HD. That's really the only problem I had with the stock browser -- too many websites out there would automatically redirect me to the typically limiting mobile version of their websites. Anyone know of a way to change the user agent of the stock browser?

Edit: Nevermind! Don't know why I couldn't find anything on this just a month ago, but here's something from back in May 2010: LIFEHACKER

Now I'll be able to more directly compare the stock browser to Dolphin HD and see if Dolphin HD is worth the extra fluff.
