Help some questions

I brought this phone last week and i managed to unlock the phone.
Im using my 02 contract sim untill march when i leave them.

i can send and receive txts but cant receive pics. i have the internet working.

Also i want to get rid of all the orange rubbish and was wondering if this is exepensive to get a shop to do it as i have never done this before.
