Root Finding Rom's

I moved your thread since the area you originally posted in was for a list of ROMs, Kernels, Themes, etc.

This area has all the different ROMs, themes, etc that are available: Droid - ROMs - Android Forums

Give it a read through and see which ones you like. Personally, I like sourcery, Ultimate Droid, CyanogenMod, Bugless Beast, and Liquid Frozen Yogurt the best.

It seems the best ones are in ROM Manager. There could be good ones outside of it, but I like ROM Manager's procedures for downloading and updating ROMs so I stick to that. If you're feeling adventurous, the ROM section here would be a good place to look.

I use ROM Manager a lot, but I don't use it to download ROM's anymore. I have seen where they may not always be the most current versions with UD as a great example (haven't used UD in awhile) and CM as one exception.

I usually read up through this forum or HERE and find one which works good for my droid.

Currently on Elite also but will probably start experimenting with gingerbread ROM's in the next few weeks.

That's true. For CM, ROM Manager is the best. But I don't think it's RM's fault that UD isn't the most up to date. I figured it would be UD that would notify RM of a new update and post it.

You can download kernels from RM as well. I just go to ChevyNo1's section and get his froyo kernels which, for me, are the best ones out there. 36+ hours of battery life while OCd to 800 Mhz and being used rather heavily.
