Ok some jerk at school stole my usb cable so i ordered one from ebay and I'm getting it tomorrow. It's the original cable I think. Would this affect my phone in any way because I was using one of those charger that the end can be changed and it was affecting my phones touchscreen

not sure because my ipod 1st gen only came with a usb cable, so I bought a wall adapter thing that the usb goes into, and then into the wall, and it seems whenever it's charging through that adapter, my touchscreen was all jumpy and weird, like I would press something, but it will scroll instead, not sure if you are referring to the same thing. If you experience a problem with the new one, then order this one

yes, i'm having the exact same problem with the one i'm currently using. I was trying to unlock the pattern part and when i pressed it would register it as if i was pressing somewhere else. I thought it was the phone but i rebooted it and realized it was the charger making act like that. Any answers on why is the charger doing that to my phone?

No idea what would cause that, but I'd hazard a guess and say you probably shouldn't continue using a non-standard charger that causes this type of issue. I'd fear the possible damage from it.

it won't damage the phone, but it will just be hard to use it while it's charging...it's most likely not the USB cable but the adapter itself.

No problems here, while using the factory charger&cord(Cricket).I have noticed that non-OEM cords/adaptors may do the job(of charging),the fit tends to be somewhat loose & could be part of the problem.

I think the adapter is the problem. I would be using my factory charger but somebody stole it during class. Funny thing is they stole my charger but not my phone (stupid much) lol:D

I've been having the same jumpy screen problem with charging my phone on cords that didn't come with the phone. But I am also noticing that when I use these cords a lot, suddenly they won't charge my phone anymore. I'm wondering if the phone is burning them out...the connection becomes loose also. It's as if the phone is eating the cords (something like that).

From previous experience.

Never use third party hardware/equipment for phones. Your best bet, is to find a compatible one made either by Huawei themselves or something remotly similar, I'm using a Huawei Charger but the cable is by Samsung. But see, that's how it came in the box.

Be wary of 'fake' authentic equipment.

You know another thing that is hard to do? Getting a headset that works right with my phone. Since the port's so tiny...its a small selection. Since Huawei is picky and the 3rd Parties are CRAP, its even harder.

Damn, I miss my old stuff.
